Branding Your Email Template

You can brand your email templates by adding your company details in Evalgator. Please note that you need an assessment admin user role to change the company settings. 

  1. Click the profile button on the lower left corner of the Assessment dashboard and select Company Settings from the drop-up menu. This opens up the Company Settings page, where you can enter your company details.
  2. Under Profile Settings, enter the name of your company in the Company Name field.
  3. Under Brand Settings, enter the hexadecimal values of your company’s primary and secondary brand colors.
  4. In the placeholder under Company Logo, upload the logo of your company.
  5. Click  Save  to save the settings.
  6. To verify the changes, select Email Templates in the left navigation panel and click Preview Email.
  7. In the email template that opens up, you can see the primary color as the button color and the secondary color as the text color. Your company logo will be visible in the center of the header.
Previewing an Email Template

To verify a drafted email, it can be previewed from the Preview Email tab in the Email Templates dashboard.

  1. Select Admin Settings on the left navigation panel and click on Email Templates. The email template dashboard will appear.
  2. Select Preview Email under the required email to view the existing template.
Editing the Email for Candidates
  1. Select Admin Settings on the left navigation panel and click on Email Templates. The email template dashboard will appear.
  2. Click the Edit Template button under the required email.
  3. On the edit page that appears, edit the default subject line. 
  4. In the CC and BCC fields, enter the respective email IDs.
  5. In the text editor, edit the body of the email. Standard placeholders for dynamic content are provided on the right side of the template.
  6. Select Test Email  to send a test email. The test email will be sent to the email ID of the logged-in user. Another method to verify the email is by clicking the Preview button next to Test Email  button.
  7. Click Save.
Customizing Candidate Registration Fields

You can customize and set up registration the candidate registration form according to your requirements and collect specific candidate details necessary for your assessments. 

  1. Select Admin Settings on the left navigation panel and click on Registration Fields
  2. Click on Edit to customize the registration fields in the candidate registration form.
  3. Check the box next to a field name to include it in the registration form.

  4. Click the lock icon next to a field name to lock a field in the form.

  5. If the checkbox next to a locked field is selected, it must be included in the form.

  6. If the checkbox next to a locked field is not selected, it cannot be included in the form.

  7. Customize the display order of fields under each section by adjusting them on the right side of the page.

  8. Click on + Add Custom Field to add a new field to the form.

     
  9. Enter the field name, select the section under which it has to be shown, choose the type of field, and click on add to create a new field.

  10. Check Is mandatory to make it a mandatory field.

  11. Click Save.

Editing Rules and Regulations

You can review the  standard set of rules for assessment that appear by default on Rules and Regulations Edit Page  and modify them, if needed, to better suit your organization's requirements.

    1. Select Admin Settings on the left navigation panel and click Rules and Regulations. The Rules and Regulations dashboard will appear.
    2. Click the Edit button on the top right corner of the screen. The edit page will appear, displaying pre-set rules and regulations.
    3. Modify the Rules and Regulations that appear on the edit page.
    4. Select the appropriate placeholders from the right side of the template. They will automatically be replaced with actual assessment values and displayed in the individual assessment's Rules and Regulations section.
    5. Click the Preview button in the top-right corner of the screen to view the rules and regulations.
    6. Click Save.

Please Note:  If you want to customize rules and regulations specific to an assessment, you can do so under that assessment by navigating to Assessments > Edit Assessment > Configuration > Rules and Regulations.
