Email Management

Evalgator allows you to brand your email templates and customize the content in the invitation, reminder, and acknowledgment emails.

Branding Your Email Template

You can brand your email templates by adding your company details in Evalgator. Please note that you need an assessment admin user role to change the company settings. 

  1. Click the profile button on the lower left corner of the Assessment dashboard and select Company Settings from the drop-up menu. This opens up the Company Settings page, where you can enter your company details.
  2. Under Profile Settings, enter the name of your company in the Company Name field.
  3. Under Brand Settings, enter the hexadecimal values of your company’s primary and secondary brand colors.
  4. In the placeholder under Company Logo, upload the logo of your company.
  5. Click  Save  to save the settings.
  6. To verify the changes, select Email Templates in the left navigation panel and click Preview Email.
  7. In the email template that opens up, you can see the primary color as the button color and the secondary color as the text color. Your company logo will be visible in the center of the header.
Previewing an Email Template

To verify a drafted email, it can be previewed from the Preview Email tab in the Email Templates dashboard.

  1. Select Admin Settings on the left navigation panel and click on Email Templates. The email template dashboard will appear.
  2. Select Preview Email under the required email to view the existing template.
Editing a Candidate Invitation Template
  1. Select Admin Settings on the left navigation panel and click on Email Templates. The email template dashboard will appear.
  2. Click the Edit Template button under Candidate Invite.
  3. On the edit page that appears, edit the default subject line. 
  4. In the CC and BCC fields, enter the respective email IDs.
  5. In the text editor, edit the body of the email. Standard placeholders for dynamic content are provided on the right side of the template.
  6. Select Test Email  to send a test email. The test email will be sent to the email ID of the logged-in user. Another method to verify the email is by clicking the Preview button next to Test Email  button.
  7. Click Save.
