Results

After an assessment is complete, you can view the results, shortlist the candidates, and assign interviews to the shortlisted candidates.

Viewing the Result Summary of a Candidate
  1. Click Assessments on the left navigation pane. The All Assessments dashboard with a tabular view of all the assessments will open up
  2. Click the View Result button to the right of the assessment you want to view the result of. The Assessment Result page will open up.
  3. Click on Download Report on the top right to download three separate sheets Assessment Details, Report - Test Case, and Report - Score.

  4. The Assessment Details sheet shows the assessment title, start date, number of invitations sent, number of candidates registered, and number of candidates who attended the assessment.

  5. Report - Test Case sheet provides detailed information on the candidate's performance based on test cases including the number of test cases passed, whether the candidate answered or did not answer each question, and whether their responses were correct or incorrect.

  6. Report - Score sheet offers a comprehensive breakdown of candidates' scores for each question within the assessment.

  7. Click on Show Feedback to view the candidate feedback collected during the assessment.

  8. Click the download button under actions to download the result of a candidate in PDF format.
  9. Choose sections to be included in the report.
  10. Click download. A PDF file of the candidate's result will be downloaded.
  11. To view the Basic details entered while creating the assessment, select the Basic Details tab. It will show basic assessment details, address information, proctoring settings, assessment configuration, and invigilator app status.
  12. If it is a multi slot assessment, there will be a slots tab that shows the details about the slots of the assessment.
  13. To view the summary of each candidate’s performance, click the Candidate Summary tab. The following details will be displayed in a tabular view: 
  14. Rank: The candidate’s position among all the candidates who appeared for the assessment.
  15. Name: The candidate’s name as entered during registration.
  16. Email: Email ID of the candidate
  17. Score: The marks and percentage obtained by the candidate in the assessment. Note that the marks of descriptive, video, and HTML questions are not included in the score. To add it, you have to manually enter the marks by selecting the descriptive, video, or HTML question and recalculate the rank.
  18. Time Taken: It is the total time taken by the candidate to complete the assessment.
  19. Status: It shows status such as Not Registered or Registered, depending on the registration status of the candidate, and In Progress or Completed depending on the candidate's progress in the assessment.
  20. Slot: Details of the assessment slot of the candidate in case of multi-slot assessments.
  21. Tabouts: The number of times the candidate tabbed out of the assessment tab during the assessment.
  22. Start Time: Shows the time at which the candidate started the assessment.
  23. Trial Exam Status: It shows if the candidate had attended the trial assessment.
  24. Actions: From actions you can see the candidate feedback, view the candidate assessment summary, and view captured images if face monitoring is enabled.
  25. Candidate assessment summary shows the details of each individual candidate and their performance in the assessment.
  26. In the tabbed menu under profile, you can view the candidate details. 
  27. Under questions, you can see the candidates performance details for each question in the assessment.
  28. You can enter the marks manually for descriptive, video, and HTML questions here.
  29. Any comments made by the invigilator can be viewed in the invigilator comments section.
  30. Candidate feedback shows the feedback given by the candidates about Evalgator.
  31. Candidate activity shows the candidates activity log during the duration of the assessment.
  32. You can track flagged activities (tabouts, multiple login attempts, extended screen connection,  accessing assessment from restricted IP), session activities (login, logout, assessment start and finish, trial exam start and finish), and timeline activities (candidate adding, registration, removal after publishing, reactivation, rescheduling).

  33. If face monitoring is enabled, there will be an additional tab All Captured Images, where you can view registered images, captured images, and flagged images (if automatic face monitoring is enabled) of the candidate.
  34. Go back to the Assessment Result page and click Shortlisted Candidates to view the list of shortlisted candidates.
  35. Click on Exam Summary to view the performance of each candidate on a question-by-question basis.
  36. Click Question Summary to view a summary of each candidate’s performance question-wise. The details will be displayed in a pie-chart format.
  37. Click the icon to the left of the Refresh button to view the details in table format.
Editing Answers After an Assessment

If, after an assessment, you realize that you marked the wrong option in an MCQ question or you missed adding the correct answer in a FIB-type question, you can rectify it. Evalgator allows you to edit the answers for MCQs and Fill in the Blanks-type questions even after an assessment is complete. (This edit facility is not available for other types of questions).

Note: The changes will be reflected only in the current assessment. For the changes to be reflected in future assessments, you have to edit the answers in the Questions section of the Assessment portal.

Editing Answers to MCQ 

  1. Click Assessments on the left navigation pane. The All Assessments dashboard with a tabular view of all the assessments will open up.
  2. Click the View Result button to the right of the Assessment you want to view the result of. The Assessment Result page will open up.
  3. On the Assessment Result dashboard, click on the Question Summary tab. The information will be displayed in a graphical view.
  4. Click on the column icon next to the Refresh button.
  5. In the column view, click the eye icon at the right end of the required question. A modal with details of the question and the answers will be displayed.
  6. Click Edit Answers.
  7. Make the necessary changes and click Save.
  8. A pop-up modal with a message stating the conditions of the edit will appear. Select Got it.

Edit Answers to Fill in the Blanks

  1. Click Assessments on the left navigation pane. The All Assessments dashboard with a tabular view of all the assessments will open up.
  2. Click the View Result button to the right of the Assessment you want to view the result of. The Assessment Result page will open up.
  3. On the Assessment Result dashboard, click on the Question Summary tab. The information will be displayed in a graphical view.
  4. Click on the column icon next to the Refresh button.
  5. In the column view, click the eye icon at the right end of the required question. A modal with details of the question and the answers will be displayed.
  6. Click Edit Answers.
  7. Make the necessary changes and click Save.
  8. A pop-up modal with a message stating the conditions of the edit will appear. Select Got it.

The questions with updated answers will be displayed as a small  i   symbol in the top right corner of the Question Summary tab. 

Note: Editing answers will change the total marks obtained by the candidate and may change their position. To rectify it, recalculate the ranks. If ranks are not recalculated, a reminder will be displayed near the updated assessments in the Assessment dashboard.

Entering Marks for Questions

The marks for video, descriptive, and HTML questions have to be manually added after an exam.

Adding Marks for Descriptive Questions

  1. On the Candidate Summary tab in the Assessment Result dashboard, click the eye icon, under the Actions column. A table with the performance summary of the candidate for each question will be displayed.
  2. Click the eye icon to the right of the descriptive question row. A modal displaying the candidate’s answer with space for entering marks will be displayed.
  3. Enter the marks and click Save.
  4. Recalculate the rank so that it is reflected in the results.

Adding Marks for Video Questions

  1. On the Candidate Summary tab in the Assessment Result dashboard, click the eye icon, under the Actions column. A table with the performance summary of the candidate for each question will be displayed.
  2. Click the eye icon to the right of the video question row. A modal displaying the candidate’s answer with space for entering marks will be displayed.
  3. Enter the marks and click Save.
  4. Recalculate the rank so that it is reflected in the results. 

Adding Marks for HTML Questions

  1. On the Candidate Summary tab in the Assessment Result dashboard, click the eye icon, under the Actions column. A table with the performance summary of the candidate for each question will be displayed.
  2. Click the eye icon to the right of the HTML question row. A modal displaying the candidate’s answer with space for entering marks will be displayed.
  3. Click preview to check the responsiveness of the HTML code.
  4. Click on the dropdown to select different screen resolutions.
  5. Click on custom, enter the width and height, and click on set value to see how the code performs for custom resolutions.
  6. Enter the marks and click Save.
  7. Recalculate the rank so that it is reflected in the results.
Recalculating the Rank of Candidates

You will have to recalculate rank after entering the marks for descriptive,video, or HTML questions or in cases where you make changes to the answers to MCQs or Fill in the Blanks questions. These changes will change the total marks obtained by the candidate and may affect their position among the other candidates. To rectify the position obtained by each candidate, you have to recalculate the rank.

  1. Click the three dots icon at the top right corner of the Assessment Result dashboard.
  2. A drop-down menu will appear. Select Recalculate Rank. The updated positions obtained by the candidates will be displayed.
  3. You can also see the option to recalculate rank on the candidate summary page after making changes to the scores of candidates.
Adding Invigilator Comments

While checking the result of the candidate, if an invigilator needs to add notes for future reference or for others who may be concerned with the selection procedure, they can do it by leaving comments under invigilator comments.

  1. Click Assessments on the left navigation pane. The All Assessments dashboard with a tabular view of all the assessments will open up.
  2. Click the View Details/View Result button to the right of the Assessment you want to add comments to. The Assessment Result page will open up.
  3. Find the candidate for whom you want to add comments and click the eye icon under the actions column. The Candidate Assessment Result dashboard will be displayed.
  4. Click the Invigilator Comments tab and Click the +Add Comments button to the top right.
  5. A pop-up modal with a text box to add your comments will be displayed.
  6. Add your comments and select Save. Your comment will be displayed under Invigilator Comments.
Downloading the Candidate’s Report

  1. Click Assessments on the left navigation pane. The All Assessments dashboard with a tabular view of all the assessments will open up.
  2. Click the View Result button to the right of the assessment you want to view the result of. The Assessment Result page will open up.
  3. Click on the download report icon under Actions.
  4. You can also click the view icon under Actions, go to the Candidate Assessment Result page, click the three dots on the top right of the page, and click the download report button.
  5. A download report popup will appear. 
  6. Check the sections you want to be included in the report.
  7. Click download to download the candidate's report.
  8. You can also download the candidate's report from the candidates menu.
  9. Click Candidates on the left navigation pane. The candidate menu with the list of all the candidates assessed will open up.
  10. Click the View Candidate Details button near the name of the candidate you want to download the report. 
  11. Click on the Connected Assessments tab and choose the assessment.
  12. You will be taken to the Candidate Assessment Result page.
  13. Click the three dots on the top right of the page and click the download report button.

  14. Check the sections you want to be included in the report.
  15. Click download to download the candidate's report.
Shortlisting and Assigning Interviews for Candidates

Evalgator allows you to filter the candidates with a shortlist option. You can shortlist candidates according to their performance and later assign interviews to them. You can also download the shortlisted candidates' list from the Shortlisted Candidates tab in the Assessment Result dashboard.

  1. Go to the Assessment Result dashboard and select the Candidates Summary tab. A table with a summary of each candidate’s performance will be displayed.
  2. Select the checkbox to the left of the candidate's name, next to their rank.
  3. Click the +Shortlist Candidate(s) button to shortlist candidates.
  4. Next, click the Shortlist Candidate(s) tab. The shortlisted candidate's list will be displayed.
  5. Click the eye icon under actions to view a summary of the candidate’s performance.
  6. Click the close icon under actions and click Remove on the Remove candidate pop-up to remove the candidate from the shortlist.
  7. Click the calendar icon under actions to schedule an interview with the candidate.
  8. A modal for selecting the interview details such as date, time, and the interviewer will appear.
  9. Fill in the details and click Assign.

    Note: For an interview, you can assign a candidate to any user who has Interviews admin or Interviewer access role. More than one interviewer can be assigned to the same candidate.

  10. Alternatively, click the Candidates Summary tab and select the eye icon to the right of the candidate's row. The detailed performance of the candidate will be displayed.
  11. Click the Schedule Interview button in the top-right corner of the dashboard. A modal for selecting the interview details such as date, time, and the interviewer will appear.
  12. Fill in the details and click Assign.
  13. The interviewer will be able to view the candidates assigned to them under the Upcoming in My Interviews section in the Interview portal.
